Disney+ has decided to postpone the release of the highly anticipated drama "Knock Off," starring Kim Soo-hyun.
The drama, with a production cost of approximately 60 billion won, was set to be released in April for season 1 and later in the year for season 2.
The decision comes amidst controversy surrounding Kim Soo-hyun's alleged past relationship with the late actress Kim Sae-ron.
Public backlash against Kim Soo-hyun has intensified, leading to the postponement of the drama's release schedule.
The controversy has also negatively impacted Kim Soo-hyun's advertising and broadcasting activities.
Several companies have either stopped airing his advertisements or canceled their contracts with him.
MBC's "Good Day," where Kim Soo-hyun made a guest appearance, has also canceled its scheduled broadcast.
The drama 'Knock Off' is about a man who's life is changed due to the IMF and becomes a king in the fake goods market.
The release of the drama is now on hold indefinetly.
