Actress Noh Jung-ui shared her thoughts on the conclusion of Channel A’s weekend drama “The Witch.”
In the drama, she played “Mi-jung,” a girl called a “witch” because misfortune befell those who loved her. Noh delivered a nuanced and emotional performance, portraying Mi-jung’s growing guilt and pain with realism, which deeply resonated with viewers. Her empty, sorrowful gaze, especially after losing her father and being forced to leave her hometown, heightened the immersion. As the drama progressed, her emotional acting became even more intense, drawing praise from the audience.
In the final episode, Mi-jung shed tears while watching a video message from Da-eun (played by Kwon Han-sol), who had once accused her of being a witch. Eventually, they reconciled, clearing up past misunderstandings. Mi-jung also confirmed her feelings with Dong-jin (played by Park Jin-young), who had stayed by her side despite everything, bringing the story to a touching conclusion.
Reflecting on the drama’s end, Noh Jung-ui expressed, “Meeting Mi-jung was a precious experience for me, and I will cherish the memories we made together.” She added, “Thanks to the viewers who loved and supported ‘The Witch,’ I can let it go with a grateful heart.”
Meanwhile, Noh Jung-ui will soon return to the small screen in MBC’s upcoming Friday-Saturday drama “Bunny and Her Boys,” premiering on April 4. Fans are eager to see her in a completely different role from Mi-jung, showcasing another side of her acting talent.#노정의 #마녀 #Nohjungui #thewitch
