tvN’s new weekend drama, “Resident Playbook”, is set to premiere on April 12th, and has released its teaser video and a poster featuring first-year OBGYN residents.

The drama is set in the Obstetrics and Gynecology department of Yulje Hospital in Jongno, following the growth stories of first-year residents Oh I-young (played by Go Yoon-jung), Pyo Nam-kyung (played by Cynthia), Um Jae-il (played by Kang Yoo-seok), and Kim Sa-bi (played by Han Ye-ji).

The teaser shows these rookie doctors clumsily but sincerely caring for mothers in labor, with the determination that “if it’s for the mother and the baby, we do it.” Their anxious yet passionate moments deliver warmth and emotion.

The poster captures the four residents running through the hospital hallways in urgency, contrasting with the calm and composed professors from “Hospital Playlist,” raising anticipation for the day these residents will walk those halls with confidence.

“Resident Playbook” will showcase heartfelt and relatable stories of young doctors just starting out, and newborns taking their first breaths in a place where life and death coexist.
The first episode will air on April 12th (Saturday) on tvN.
